We have loved being part of so many fantastic challenge events this year, cheering on our amazing supporters who have taken part for The Cure Parkinson’s Trust. Here’s a pick of the main challenges from this year.

In April, 30 inspirational individuals took part in the iconic Virgin Money London Marathon completing the 26 mile challenge for CPT.

The Vitality London 10k is CPT’s longest standing challenge event taking place in May and we love being part of it! This year ‘Team CPT’ was 15 runners strong as they completed the scenic race which took them past Nelson’s Column, St. Paul’s Cathedral, The Houses of Parliament and the beautiful St James’ Park. The team together raised a fantastic £6000.

The Prudential RideLondon took place for the second time on 30th July this year. Starting at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in Stratford our brilliant CPT team of cyclists pedalled their way 46 miles past the Tower of London, through Richmond Park, Thames Ditton and Wimbledon enjoying a spectacular finish on The Mall.

This October saw the 10th anniversary of The Royal Parks Foundation Half Marathon which took place on a beautiful crisp autumn day. The sun was shining as 48 of our runners took on the 13.1 mile challenge running through four of London’s beautiful Royal Parks and together raising an incredible £30,000.

Thank you to everyone who has taken on a CPT challenge event for us this year. You’re all AMAZING and we are hugely grateful for your fundraising efforts and support.
