Looking back over the year, we’ve showcased a few more challenge events taken on by our wonderful individual fundraisers...

In March, brave Jane Birkin took part in an N60 challenge in the Norwegian Mountains. The N60 is run exclusively by IGO Adventures and is a cross-country race covering the breathtakingly beautiful 100 mile landscape between Hemsedal and Geilo crossing the snowy expanse by foot, bike and skis.

Known as ‘the toughest footrace on earth’ The Marathon des Sables is not for the faint-hearted. Participants must run 156 miles over 6 days through the Sahara desert, carrying everything they needed on their back. This didn’t stop CPT supporter Patrick Timmis from heroically crossing the finish line in April 2017!

On the 30th September Emily Lachore took part in an Iron Man challenge in Barcelona, Spain to raise funds for CPT and for her stepfather Pat who has lived with Parkinson’s for 10 years. Emily undertook the incredible challenge of a 2.2 mile swim, followed by a 112 mile cycle followed by a full marathon all without a break! Emily’s incredible efforts have raised well over £14,000 for CPT.

Our individual fundraisers never cease to amaze us taking on the most incredible fundraising challenges for CPT. You're all AMAZING and we cannot wait to see what fundraising challenges you take on next year!
