The Belvoir Charity Clay Shoot The Cure Parkinson’s Trust is delighted to have been chosen by the Duke and Duchess of Rutland as one of the beneficiary charities for the annual Charity Clay Shoot, taking place at Belvoir Castle on Thursday 3rd May 2018. Organised as a simulated game shoot, there will be five ‘drives’ in various locations around the Belvoir Estate, with different ‘birds’ presented by the experienced team of trap handlers at each drive. Luxury transport is provided for each team between drives by Bentley, Leicester. Cartridges are provided and there will be a selection of delicious refreshments at each sponsored stand during the morning. As for a traditional game shoot, your day starts with a warm welcome to Belvoir Castle for registration, followed by a hearty full cooked breakfast. Teams will then depart for the first drives from 9.00am and return to the Castle at 1.30pm for a champagne reception and lunch in the magnificent Regents Gallery, normally only used by the family. Following lunch there will be a 'live' auction, and guests will depart from 5.30pm. A silent auction will also run during the day in aid of the charities. The subscription for a team of four guns to include all catering and shoot activities on the day in the majestic surroundings of Belvoir Castle is £2,650. The day is limited to 30 teams, and you can reserve your place today with a deposit of £500.
