Take the plunge and brave ice-cold waters for a cure! 

It’s time to dig out your swimsuit and take a dip to help raise awareness and funds The Cure Parkinson’s Trust (CPT) this Christmas. Whether you take part in the sea, an open water facility, or in your polar paddling pool at home, you can complete this challenge whenever you wish over the month of December. You can choose to take a quick dip or plan a lengthy swim, either way we’d love you to get involved!

How to take part in support of CPT

  • Sign up here for free, with our registration form. 
  • Choose when in December you will be taking on your ‘Polar Plunge’.
  • Set up your JustGiving page and start fundraising. 
  • Share your challenge on your social media networks. Ask friends and family to sponsor you or encourage them to join you in your bravery! Remember to tag CPT in your posts so we can see what you’re up to - we'd love to hear from you!
  • Complete your challenge on the day! Please remember to adhere to social distancing guidelines as set out by the government. For the latest information on government restrictions, please click here.

COVID-19 has had a significant impact on CPT. In 2020, 95% of our fundraising events have been cancelled or postponed and our funding decimated, and so we are hugely grateful to be able to hold virtual events such as this to raise vital fundsand awareness of our research.
