Each year we ask individuals with Parkinson's their care partners, family members as well as healthcare professionals and researchers working in the field of Parkinson’s to take part in an online survey.

The results of this survey are then presented and debated at our annual ‘Rallying to the Challenge’ meeting, which is held as part of the Grand Challenges in Parkinson’s at the Van Andel Research Institute in Michigan, US, demonstrating how people with Parkinson’s can influence and support research. This year’s survey is focused around individuals’ perception of risk and the factors that influence their decision. From the survey we want to understand:

  • Individuals' perceptions of risk
  • Factors that influence those decisions
  • What should be considered before making the decision to take part in research
  • Whether perceptions of risk differ between people with Parkinson’s, healthcare professionals and researchers

Your views are important and by sharing them you can help drive Parkinson’s research.

Click here to complete the survey which should take between 10-20 minutes. If you know of anyone else who might like to take part please forward this survey onto them.

Please note that The Cure Parkinson’s Trust will not share your personal information with any third party, however anonymised results of this survey will be shared at the ‘Rallying to the Challenge’ meeting hosted by the Van Andel Research Institute, Grand Rapids, Michigan, US. Following the meeting, anonymised results may also be published in a written report.
