The 2019 Ricky Road Run Sign up for the Ricky Road Run in support of CPT! The Cure Parkinson’s Trust (CPT) team are excited to be coming together this October to take part in the 2019 Ricky Road Run and would be delighted for you to join them to help raise awareness and funds for CPT’s research into a cure for Parkinson’s. Taking place on Sunday 27th October the brilliant annual 10 mile road run sees over 600 runners take on the hilly route through Rickmansworth and Chorleywood, Hertfordshire providing a great challenge to runners of all abilities. CPT runners are invited to join a post race celebration at Chorleywood Cricket Club where prizes will be awarded for the fastest time, highest amount raised and best team spirit. Sign up as an individual or in teams of four to take on this brilliant challenge for CPT. Registration To take part in the Ricky Road Run in support of CPT please sign up via the Ricky Road Run website. There is a £15 registration fee to enter and a suggested minimum sponsorship target of £100. Once registered please contact Julia for more information and to acquire your CPT running vest. Running for CPT We truly appreciate the effort all of our runners put into fundraising for us. In return we will provide: A CPT running vest (made from breathable fabric) and a wristband. CPT fundraising materials including: collection buckets, posters and balloons to help with any fundraising events you might have alongside your challenge. You will be supported by a dedicated member of our team who will be on hand to offer you friendly and efficient support, by phone and e-mail, to help with any questions you may have. The reassurance that the money you raise will be directed towards research in to treatments that have the potential to slow, stop and reverse Parkinson’s.
