William Cook is a solicitor who specialises in intellectual property law.  He has been a partner of Marks & Clerk in London for over five years, and was previously an associate and partner of Simmons & Simmons in the City for over 15 years.  His professional focus is on patent-related matters, especially licensing and enforcement, advising research-based pharmaceutical companies and other originating technology companies on patent-related issues.  He has been a supporter of The Cure Parkinson’s Trust (CPT) since its inception, and has run the London Marathon and Royal Parks Half Marathon for CPT.  Will is married with three children, and he enjoys tennis, triathlon and family life.
