From the 16-19 September AEGIS London will be taking part in the exciting Castel Office2Office Ride. They have announced their co-sponsorship of the event taking place in support of The Cure Parkinson’s Trust (CPT). From being the lead sponsor of last year’s Coast-to-Coast-to-Cure cycle ride, AEGIS are taking it up a notch this year as they and fellow sponsors take on this cycle challenge hoping to raise over £100,000 for CPT’s pioneering Parkinson’s research.

The Office2Office Ride will see 40 cyclists from across the London insurance market take on this great 480km journey, cycling from London through the scenic Kent Countryside to Dover before enjoying two days riding through France, Belgium and the Netherlands to finish in Amsterdam.

AEGIS’s Head of Specialty Simon Cooper, who was diagnosed with YOPD in 2017 said:

“I promise that this is the one big charity drive I will carry out within the market! Castel's generosity in offering to promote a market-wide fundraising opportunity that everyone can tag onto is great. Our aim is to raise over £100,000 in aid of The Cure Parkinson’s Trust, who are making progress in developing solutions that will slow, stop or reverse the disease.”

All at CPT would like to say a huge thank you to AEGIS for their dedication in supporting our cause. We look forward to hearing more about the preparation for this amazing challenge.
