On 14th May, more than 500 of the City’s leading wealth management professionals gathered in the historic Merchant Taylors’ Hall for the 31st annual Gulls’ Eggs Luncheon. For the fourth year running, this unique networking event was held in support of The Cure Parkinson’s Trust (CPT), raising over £95,000 (net).

The Gulls’ Eggs Luncheon is a firmly established event in the City’s social calendar, and has developed a loyal following since its inception 31 years ago. This year guests were joined by best-selling author Joanna Trollope, OBE and The Lord-Lieutenant of Hertfordshire Robert Voss, CBE (pictured below) who both recently became patrons of CPT.

Rupert Phelps, Chairman of the Gulls’ Eggs Committee commented: “We are very grateful for the wide and substantial support that this crucial event in aid of The Cure Parkinson’s Trust has received. It is wonderful to see both perennial supporters now joined by newer faces coming every year. In addition to really strong attendance, the sponsors and advertisers have come together to make a truly significant contribution to the critical research work of The Cure Parkinson’s Trust.”

The funds raised for CPT will be directed towards vital research into new treatments to slow, stop and reverse Parkinson’s.
