The Cure Parkinson’s Trust (CPT) were delighted to be one of the beneficiary charities of Hilton Food Group’s (HFG) third annual charity golf day, held at Hanbury Manor on the 6th June.

This fantastic event saw 152 golfers take part in a round of golf on the beautiful wooded 18 hole course in Hertfordshire. Guests were treated to refreshments at the half way house from the double-decker Skinny Beer Bus (pictured below) and a BBQ with Hilton Chef, Sophie Harding cooking up a storm. This brilliant event raised an incredible £120,000 for CPT and East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices. CPT’s CEO, Will Cook took part in the day and said:

"We were delighted to have been one of the beneficiary charities at the third annual Hilton Food Group’s Charity Golf Day. It was a fantastic day, full of fun, laughter, goodwill and compassion. The huge amount raised will make a big difference to the research we are able to fund: we are grateful for the efforts and skill of the dedicated team at Hilton Food Group for making this all possible."

CPT would like to take this opportunity to say a huge thank you to Hilton Food Group for your support and to everyone who organised and took part in the fantastic day helping us to fund pioneering research into a cure for Parkinson’s.
