The Cure Parkinson's Trust appoints a New CEO The Cure Parkinson’s Trust (CPT) is pleased to confirm that Will Cook is joining the team as CEO, working with and alongside our COO Helen Matthews. Helen also becomes deputy CEO. Will has been a trustee of the charity and chair of our Governance & Risk Committee since 2015. He will formally take up the new position as CEO in March 2018, and in the meantime adopts the role of acting CEO as a part of his trustee duties. He remains an active partner of intellectual property solicitors Marks & Clerk. Will continues to work closely with Helen and CPT’s Director of Research & Development Dr Richard Wyse to help drive the Trust’s innovative research programmes towards our goal: a cure for Parkinson’s. Richard, Helen and Will will continue to lead, with urgency, inspiration and enthusiasm, the exciting progress the Trust is making on all fronts towards a cure.
