Webinar Discussion: 'Does Exenatide reduce non-motor symptoms in Parkinson’s disease?' We were delighted to hold the first of our new quarterly Parkinson’s webinar series in partnership with Journal of Parkinson’s Disease and Parkinson’s Movement on the 19th June. The webinar discussion led by Chair Professor Patrick Brundin examined the recent paper “What effects might exenatide have on non-motor symptoms in Parkinson’s disease: A post hoc analysis”, by Dr Dilan Athauda et al. Professor Brundin was joined by fellow panellists Professor Tom Foltynie from University College London (UCL), who led the exenatide trial, Nigel Greig and Dimitrios Kapogiannis from the National Institute of Ageing (NIA), and exenatide trial participant Penny Kustow. The next webinar will take place during the last week of September from Grand Challenges in Parkinson’s Disease and Rallying to the Challenge 2018. Further details will be announced closer to this time.
