Kate Osborne cycled 3,659 miles from California to North Carolina to raise funds and awareness for Parkinson’s research.

When Kate was planning her epic 3,659 mile cycle, she decided that it was a great opportunity to raise some money for two charities close to her heart; the Alzheimer’s Association and Cure Parkinson’s.

She wanted to raise funds for Parkinson’s research in honour of her aunt, Judith, who lives with the condition, and Judith nominated Cure Parkinson’s as her chosen charity.

Kate set off from San Francisco on 22 August and, when she reached her final destination of Topsail Beach in late October, after 67 days on the road she has raised over £4,700 for Cure Parkinson’s!

Everyone at Cure Parkinson’s would like to say a huge thank you to Kate for her amazing fundraising effort, and congratulations for completing such an epic challenge!
