The Cure Parkinson’s Trust (CPT) would like to say a huge thank you to our Corporate Partner Cambridge Cognition who organised a 12-person team to walk the length of Hadrian’s Wall in support of CPT. Starting at Bowness on Solway and finishing up at Walls End in Newcastle they completed the incredible 84 mile walk in just 3 days, averaging a marathon a day!

Lizzie Remfry, who works at Cambridge Cognition and helped organise the event, said:

“12 of the Cambridge Cognition team tackled the Coast-to-Coast walk along the historic Hadrian’s Wall. They encountered wet and wild weather, many a soggy sheep and racked up an incredible number of blisters in their aim to walk from Bowness on Solway to Newcastle.”

“It was a great team effort with smiles all round regardless of the weather, on one of the longest days the team walked over 27 miles and munched their way through 10 bags of jelly babies! Huge congratulations to the excellent walkers and wonderful support drivers in this mammoth challenge. With now over £3,000 raised for The Cure Parkinson’s Trust Cambridge Cognition are on track to their £5,000 target.”
