**Please note that this event is now due to take place on the 30 May 2021.**

The Edinburgh Half Marathon has sold out every year since 2012 and is one of the largest half marathons in the UK, ideal if you’re wanting to set a personal best or taking on your first half marathon for CPT! Starting on Potterrow, in the grounds of one of the oldest universities in the world, the route takes you through the very heart of Edinburgh to the Royal Park before heading east towards the coast. Reaching Musselburgh you’ll run past the famous golf course before heading further east towards the historic village of Preston Pans finishing within the vast playing fields of Pinkie School.

Running for CPT

We truly appreciate the effort all of our runners put into fundraising for us, and in return we will provide:

  • A CPT running vest (made from breathable fabric) and a wristband.
  • Letters to iron your name on to your running vest so that spectators know who you are and can cheer you on personally!
  • CPT fundraising materials including: collection buckets, posters and balloons to help with any fundraising events you might have alongside your challenge.
  • You will be supported by a dedicated member of our team who will be on hand to offer you friendly and efficient support, by phone and e-mail, to help with any questions you may have.
  • The reassurance that the money you raise will be directed towards research in to treatments that have the potential to slow, stop and reverse Parkinson’s.
