’The Tom Isaacs Award’ Nomination 2019

This nomination is for The Tom Isaacs Award. The award is in recognition of the work of a researcher/professional who has demonstrated significant impact on the lives of people living with Parkinson’s and has involved people with Parkinson’s in a participatory way in their work.

The award was created and is co-awarded by The Cure Parkinson’s Trust (CPT) UK and The Van Andel Research Institute (VARI), USA.

Diagnosed at the age of 26, Tom Isaacs was one of the best known Parkinson’s advocates in the world. He believed that a cure for Parkinson’s can and will be found, but greater value will be gained from working with people with Parkinson’s in this quest.

We welcome your nomination and thank you for your support. Nominations close on 31st August.
