When our Dad was diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease ten years ago, it came as a shock to all of the family. Since then, we have become very aware of the impact this disease has had on his day to day living, and the strict regime of medication necessary to maintain his quality of life.

When we heard about the Cure Parkinson’s Trust we decided we wanted to do something to help. So, we have decided to enter the Virgin London Triathlon on Saturday 27th July.

Anthea will swim, Jeremy (coming all the way from New Zealand!) will cycle, and Helen will run. We not only want to raise money for this Trust, searching for a cure so that future suffers will not have their lives governed by pills we also want to help raise awareness of this horrible disease that can strike anyone, of any age, at any time.

Together we hope to help the Cure Parkinson’s Trust find that vital cure. Thanks from Anthea Joyce, Jeremy Costeloe & Helen Faubel.
