Seb Falk I am running the London Marathon on 21 April 2013. Id like to take the opportunity to raise funds for a cause thats very important to me: Parkinsons research. My dad has had Parkinsons for well over a decade. Hes amazing: he doesnt let this debilitating disease stop him leading a full and exciting life.

He is helped by regular doses of a crazy cocktail of drugs, but each one becomes less effective over time so its vital that research continues to produce new and more effective treatments. Of course, Parkinsons is a degenerative condition and no drug has yet been devised to cure it or stop the symptoms getting progressively worse. Thats where the Cure Parkinsons Trust comes in: theyre totally dedicated to supporting research to bring about a cure for this horrible disease. Ill be incredibly grateful for any support you can give. This wont be my first marathon-in fact it will be my tenth-but Ive set myself a real challenge this time: to beat my PB and break 3 hours for the first time in 7 years. The training has been going well so far, but its coming to its exhausting peak now-luckily fundraising for this excellent cause is motivating me to keep getting up for those cold 6 a.m. runs.

So please dig deep-thank you so much for your support. Seb Falk
