On Sunday 14th October 40 brilliant runners took on a rather wet Royal Parks Foundation Half Marathon to raise awareness and funds for The Cure Parkinson’s Trust (CPT).

The autumnal weather did not dampen the spirits of our fantastic team as they completed the 13.1 mile route wearing big smiles, running through central London and four of the Capital’s beautiful Royal Parks.

The CPT cheering squad were in Hyde Park at miles 6 and 9 to cheer on the team and were lucky to spot so many - such was their speed!

This year CPT was also delighted to be one of four beneficiary charities for Team 50:50! A team of 70 runners who took on the half marathon to collectively fundraise for CPT, Macmillan Cancer Support, Great Ormond Street Hospital and the Royal Parks Foundation.

A massive well done and thank you to each and everyone one of our runners for your hard work, training and fundraising taking on this spectacular challenge in support of our pioneering Parkinson's research.
